I was hoping to have a nice little sit at my laptop and do some writing/etc, but my Internet is not cooperating, so I’m just popping in here, where I have been incredibly absent, to share these pictures of the Curvy Barbie I received for Christmas. She looks just like me, except not really, especially since she doesn’t have glasses. But I’m very excited at the prospect of making miniature stuff and things for her! Something I’ve always wanted to do. I’d love to make clothes for her so she can dress like me, but that may well be beyond my abilities. She’s my new Creative Project, and I’m so excited because I have a feeling I’ll actually DO something with this instead of just Thinking About It like I usually do with everything else.
PS: She is actually standing on her own, not leaning on that Sharpie box… her packaging says she can’t, but she is quite literally built different and is more structurally sound than Regular Barbie.
